I think blogs are great. What’s really the big deal, they are a way for the average guy to publish information about whatever interests him.
I would recommend to anyone who has a business or business website to set up a blog with your own domain name. Here are some of the reasons I like blogs for business web sites.
- * they are a great way to educate people about what you do and what you stand for.
- * they are the future and the present of communication.
- * it changes how you look at life and how you look at your business and clients - it empowers your clients with information and sets you up as an authority.
- * your blog creates another channel of information with people that you may have never been able to achieve without it.
- * search engines love blogs - it will give you higher rankings and that means more business for you.
There are lots of other reasons, these are not presented in any order, just random thoughts from my mind.
